FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Combs to Speak at Lake Havasu Air Show
Lake Havasu City, AZ - Pilot Michael Combs will speak at the Lake Havasu Air Show this Saturday evening hosted by the Havasu Air Center. Combs has successfully flown his Remos GX Light Sport Aircraft into 49 states and upon touching down in Lake Havasu last week had reached 23, 542 miles of his journey that has been touted as "The Greatest Aviation Event of Our Generation." With only Hawaii to go, Combs has announced that the Havasu Air Center will also be the staging point of the mainland mission to Hawaii.
"The Havasu Air Center team here is fantastic," said Combs. "The facilities are top notch in every way. And, with the location of Lake Havasu in relation to our possible shipping points by air or sea, it is the perfect location for this mission.
The Lake Havasu Air Center Air Show is held in conjunction with The Lake Havasu Patriot Days and the American Veteran's Traveling Tribute, (The Traveling Vietnam Wall). There will be static displays of Military and General Aviation aircraft as well as rides in a B-25 aircraft. In the evening will be a USO show.
Also on display will be Michael's Remos GX aircraft named "Hope One." Fans will have the chance to look inside the cockpit of the aircraft that is still on its historic mission. "I'll be speaking about what simple steps anyone must take in order to accomplish whatever they want in life," said Combs. "It will personally be a memorable time for me as this is an honor to be asked to speak here."
Combs will return to his Lake Dallas office next week in order to complete the plans for the final flight legs in Hawaii. You can follow The Flight for the Human Spirit by logging onto: www.FlightHS.com
